IMPHAL, Feb 11 : State judokas continue to swell State's medal tally in the 38th National Games adding two bronze medals on the 15th day.
The medal winners include Irengbam Kalpana Devi who secured a bronze medal in women's -63 Kg competition and Ningthoujam Sheetal Singh who settled for a bronze medal in -90 Kg competition at the Rajat Jayanti Khel Parisar Dehradun.
With these two bronze medals, State's medal haul rose to 45 including 13 gold, 13 silver and 19 bronze.
The day also saw State fencers falter in their respective competitions.
Men’s Epee team and foil team will compete tomorrow.
Unlike yesterday’s performance, state rider Khariksing Adonis Tangpu from Ukhrul, who had won a silver medal in Men XCT (Cross country time trial) competition finished fourth in XCO (Mass Start) competition at Garutal, Sattal in Uttarakhand today. His companion Khundrakpam Ronel Singh from Ningthoukhong also finished ninth, according to Manipur Adventure and Mountain Biking Association.
