Poppy plants destroyed

IMPHAL, Feb 17: Security forces destroyed at least 10 acres of poppy plantation in Khudei Khullen village in Tengnoupal district today.
"In a decisive crackdown on narco-terrorism, Assam Rifles, Manipur Police and the BSF jointly destroyed 10 acres of illicit poppy cultivation in Khudei Khullen village, near Sita in Tengnoupal district," said IGAR (South) in a statement.
