IMPHAL, Feb 6: REYS Khwai Nagamapal Lamabam Leikai and PTRC Patsoi Part-IV emerged victorious in today's league matches of the 9th MNCA W Prahlada & W Ramananda Elite Tournament 2024-25.
REYS Khwai Nagamapal Lamabam Leikai beat KCC Kongba Bazar by 87 runs.
PTRC Patsoi Part IV beat CHAMP Cricket Club Khagempalli by a massive 106 runs.
REYS vs KCC
KCC won the toss and opted to field first.
REYS amassed 216 runs for 10 wickets in 40 overs.
In reply, KCC managed to score only 129 losing all wickets in 33.5 overs.
In REYS' knock of 216 runs, KKV Mustaque took a massive 52 runs from 57 balls, and Sougrakpam Shangkar Singh took 40 runs from 37 balls.
Sapam Bikash Singh scored zero.
Jaali Ahmed Chisti (5/22), Md Basir (14/27), Naoshekpam Manglemba Meetei (2/7), Laishram Daniel Meitei (18/35), Ringku Kangujam (6/9), Nanao Singh Laishram (29/24), Kiran Laishram (10/9) and Dingku G (23/12) contributed their share of runs for REYS to reach 216 in 40 overs.
KCC's Sunil Salam, Wahengbam Somorjit Singh and Singthoi Singh Nandeibam took 2 wickets. Tayenjam Tomba Singh and Keisham Basantakumar Singh took one wicket each.
In KCC's chase for the target set by REYS, only Keisham Mranojit Singh (29/51) knocked past 20.
Rohit Singh (14/27), Nongmaithem Dijaraj Singh (20/41), Ningombam Tony Singh (5/21), Wahengbam Somorjit Singh (18/19), Nameirakpam Arbin Singh (10/6), Keisham Basantakumar Singh (2/6), Sunil Salam (7/11) and Tayenjam Tomba Singh (6/15) contributed runs to KCC's 129 in 35.5 overs.
Thokchom Momocha Singh scored zero, and Singthoi Singh Nandeibam didn't get the chance to face the ball.
REYS' Sougrakpam Shangkar Singh and Kiran Laishram took 3 wickets. Ringku Kangujam took 2 wickets. Md Basir Rahman and Sapam Bikash Singh took one wicket each.
PTRC vs CHAMP
CHAMP Cricket Club Khagempalli won the toss and opted to field first.
The opportunity to bat first proved beneficial to PTRC Patsoi Part IV as they knocked a total of 244 runs for 9 wickets in 40 overs.
CHAMP fell short of reaching the target and scored only 138 for 10 wickets in 36.3 overs.
For PTRC to amass 244 runs, Chingakham Bidash Meitei knocked a massive 72 runs off 48 balls. His team-mate, Loitongbam Shitaljit Singh scored 44 runs off 71 balls.
Khangembam Santosh Singh (6/9), Ngariyanbam Jameson Singh (11/21), Ngariyanbam Johnson Singh (32/32), Jotin Singh Pheiroijam (20/16), Raj Kumar Rex Singh (26/20), Bishworjit Singh Konthoujam (10/12), and Tamarland Pheiroijam (2/6) contributed to PTRC's 244 runs.

CHAMP's Md Sultan Karim took 4 wickets. Mohd Ahsanul and Md Babu took 2 wickets each, and Chingakham Ranjan Singh took one wicket.
CHAMP's Yumnam Karnajit displayed fine batting scoring 53 runs off 70 balls, but the team fell short of reaching the target facing PTRC's excellent fielding and bowling.
