Drugs seized

IMPHAL, Feb 6 : Police seized arms, explosives and contraband items from different parts of the State today,
The Police Control Room, in a bulletin, said that they arrested one Md Tajuddin (29) of Lilong Litan Makhong with 1041 gram of suspected brown sugar from Kwakta Pangal Lamkhai in Bishnupur.
The control room also stated that one Zamkholun Baite (40) of Songdo Village in Churachandpur was arrested along with seven packets of WY tablets weighing around 1.5 Kg from Moreh Gate no 1.
Police went on to state that one Md Anwar (41) who was involved in abducting two non locals was arrested from Heingang yesterday.
The abductees have been rescued.
