IMPHAL, Feb 28 : TYDA, Toubul romped to a 4-0 win against KYVO&SWC, Khunpham for the third straight win after opening game loss in the ongoing 2nd H Panthoibi Devi and H Tomba Singh Memorial U-13 Boys Football League at Ishok playground.
TYDA, having beaten UFC and CRAU in the previous two matches, started confidently and rode on Khangembam Sanathoi's double to seal the 4-0 win against their rivals based at Khunpham.
The two sides were evenly poised and unable to find the breakthrough till the break but Leishemba Moirangthem ended the goal drought after 53 minutes with a clinical strike before Kh Sanathoi doubled the advantage in the 61st minute.
To their delight, Leimapokpam Michael of KYVO&SWC conceded an own goal to further extend the lead for TYDA to 3-0. Sanathoi did not waste much time to score his second goal in the 63rd minute and to make it 4-0 in favour of TYDA and the scoreline remained unchanged till the final whistle.
Later in the day, CRAU sealed their second win in four games by handing UFC, Bishnupur a 3-0 defeat.
CRAU and UFC failed to make the most of the first half chances until Lairenjam Diamond found the breakthrough in the 37th minute.
CRAU kept the pressure on and made it 2-0 through Lourembam Thoi after 50 minutes before Nongmaithem Tolenkhomba took four minutes into the stoppage time (70+4') to complete the 3-0 rout.
Next matches are slated for March 2. RFCC will play CRAU in the next match from 11.30 am before Ishok FC take on TYDA in the same day from 1.30 pm.
