109 Bn CRPF organises football tournament, distributes sports kits under CAP

IMPHAL, Mar 9 : 109 Bn CRPF, Mongsangei organised a football tournament and distributed sports kits to the winners and runners up at Haoreibi ground, Imphal West after the final match today.
The tournament was organised under the aegis of IG, Manipur and Nagaland Sector CRPF and as a part of their Civic Action Programme (CAP)-2025.
The event aimed at promoting sports, physical fitness, nurturing young talents and strengthening the understanding between the force and the villagers, said Anil Kumar, Second-in-Commandant, 109 Bn, CRPF in a press communique.
Anil Kumar, on behalf of Brijesh Kumar, Commandant 109 Bn CRPF attended the occasion as chief guest in the presence of Ng Birjit, Additional Chief Engineer (Retd); Ng Manihar (Retd Police); Advocate K Birendra, president of MLVFC; Parvinder Kaur, Dy Commandant; N Gomti, Dy Commandant; Henge Eshi, Asst Commandant; personnel of 109 Bn CRPF and villagers, it said.
Anil Kumar congratulated both the winners and runners up teams and extended appreciation and gratitude for making the football tournament successful, it said.
