United Ex-SAI Players renews pledge to facilitate young players on 7th foundation day

IMPHAL, Mar 9 : United Ex-SAI Players, formed by former players of Sports Authority of India, North East Regional Centre, Imphal, today observed its 7th foundation day at Football Turf Ground, Langjing Achouba.
The programme was attended by Sorokhaibam Goutam Singh, IPS, Director Manipur Police Training College, Pangei; Sanajaoba, vice president United Ex-SAI Players; Thangjam Ibotombi; ex in-charge COE, SAI-NERC Imphal; Gurumayum Chandrajit; ex in-charge, STC SAI NERC as presidium members.
The programme not only recalled the shift in the sporting movement in the State with the establishment of Sports Authority of India, North East Regional Centre in Imphal but also celebrated the day with a friendly football match between ex SAI players and SSB team consisting of retired players.
During the programme, ex SAI players also renewed their pledge to keep continuing activities to facilitate and support State players in various levels.
