AKSDO, FORCE emerge victorious in 4th MNCA Women's One Day Trophy

IMPHAL, Mar 10 : AKSDO, Khangabok and FORCE, Kshetrigao emerged victorious in today's matches of the ongoing 4th MNCA Women's One Day Trophy.
At Kongba Dhobi Lampak, AKSDO notched up a 9-wicket win over Al-Ameen, Lilong by chasing down a target of 92 runs.
Toss winners Al-Ameen were bundled out for 91 runs in 32 overs as Khundrakpam Rabina (3/3 in 6 overs) and Khundrakpam Lucyrani (3/8 in 3 overs) and Moirangthem Daina (2/12 in 3 overs) shared a bulk 8 wickets.
Najiya Begum 33 not out off 67 and Khulem Linthoi 10 were the only batters for Al-Ameen who could managed double digit scores today in an innings which also witnessed Thokchom Langlen Chanu and Takhellambam Henthoisana claiming a wicket apiece.
In reply, AKSDO only lost Ningthoujam Langlen 2 off 4 to Farhana before M Daina 27 off 43 and N Taniya 33 off 29 produced an unbeaten 79-run partnership to seal the victory in 12 overs.
Daina who pulled off an allround show was adjudged player of the match.
Elsewhere at THAU ground, Thangmeiband, FORCE beat SHADOW, Thangmeiband by 5 wickets for their second win in five matches.
Put in to bat first, SHADOW were bowled out for 126 runs in 23.3 overs as FORCE put in a concerted effort before they cruised to the target in 29.2 overs with 5 wickets left to spare.
Laishram Viviene 26 off 30 and Sapam Kebriya 46 off 44 were the leading scorer for SHADOW today in their innings  in which 6 FORCE bowlers found their names among the wicket takers including Farjiya (2/6), Nazmin Khanam (2/28) and Sangomsumpham Sadiya (2/9). In reply, Rahamatun 37 off 59, Sumeiya Shahni 23 off 18 and S Sadiya 11 off 41 led the scoring for FORCE before Nazmin 10 and Wakila Shani 2 finished off the chase.
Priyanshee Hanglem picked two wickets (2/23) for SHADOW as Th Victoria, Kebriya and S Henthoibi picked a wicket apiece.
Rahamatun was declared player of the match.
