Kuki village chief shot dead

IMPHAL, Mar 10: Seijang village chief Lalkhothang has been shot dead by some unidentified persons.
Some heavily armed unidentified persons came to Seijang village and shot dead the village chief at around 1.30 am on March 9.
However, the village chief’s family have not yet lodged any complaint to police about the killing.
Incidentally, Seijang village is within the jurisdiction of Saikul police station.
