Found dead

KAKCHING, Mar 11: A 40-year-old widow was found allegedly hanging at her house at Thongjao Awang Leikai, under Waikhong police station, early this morning today.
The deceased has been identified as Samjetsabam ongbi Lata, wife of later S Joykumar of Thongjao Awang Leikai.
She was allegedly found hanging inside her room at around 6 am.
Postmortem was conducted at JNIMS Hospital, but the parental family at Kakching Khunou Umathel has refused to claim the body due to the "suspicious" nature of the death, said sources.
Waikhong police have registered a case, and a person, suspected to be involved in an alleged illicit relation with the deceased has been arrested.
