Fire breaks out at Sagolband

IMPHAL, Mar 22: A fire broke out at a house at Sagolband Thangjam Leirak at around 10.37 am.
The house belongs to Thangjam ongbi Joymati Devi.
Suspected to have been sparked by a short-circuit from a shop attached to the house, the fire was put out by the Fire Service.
After it was alerted, the Fire Service rushed 5 fire tenders to control and douse the fire, said Manipur Fire Service Control Room.
The fire was controlled and put out before it spread to neighbouring houses and caused major damage, said the Fire Service.
