Tree plantation drive conducted

SENAPATI, Mar 22: In celebration of the 5th VAPAH Bauhinia Festival, a mass tree plantation drive was conducted today at Koide village in Senapati district.
The drive was carried out by Assam Rifles in collaboration with Koide Youth and Students Organization (KYSO).
The initiative saw planting of around 200 saplings, symbolizing a significant step toward promoting environmental sustainability.
With the active participation of approximately 150 villagers, the event highlighted the community's dedication to a greener future.
