20-teams to vie for title of 2nd Hijam Mema Devi Memorial Veteran T-20 Cricket Tournament

IMPHAL, Mar 7 : As many as 20-teams are set to vie for the top honours in the second edition of Khomdram (O) Hijam Mema Devi Memorial Veteran T-20 Cricket Tournament beginning on March 14 at Langthabal Public Ground under the aegis of Manipur Veteran Cricket Association.
The teams who will be competing in this league cum knock-out tournament are as follows.
Group A : BSC, Brahmapur Sangai Chuthek; CHAMP, Khagempalli; YAC, Yaiskul; LCCC, Lilong Chajing and KCC, Kongba;
Group B : RNEF, Mayang Imphal; YWC, Langthabal; YCC, Wangkhei; LCC, Lamsang and UCC, Uripok;
Group C: Model Club, Chingamakha; CYCLONE, Thangmeiband; YPHU, Lalambung; YUCC, Kwakeithel Moirangpurel and REYS, Nagamapal;
Group D : SNC, Sangaiprou; ESU, Wangkhei Palace Compound; NAPSA, Kha Imphal; TCMDC, Thongju and BKCC, Bamon Kampu.
The matches will be played in two shifts beginning at 8.45 am and 12.15 pm respectively.
Top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals that will be followed by the semi-final and the final.
The opening day will see SNC take on ESU from 10 am.
