BSC beat CHAMP by 6 wickets in Mema Devi Memorial Veteran T-20 Cricket

IMPHAL, Apr 9 : BSC, Brahmapur Sangai Chuthek beat CHAMP, Khagempalli by 6 wickets in a dead rubber Group A match of the ongoing 2nd Khomdram Ongbi Hijam Mema Devi Memorial Veteran T-20 Cricket Tournament today.
CHAMP posted 115/7 after opting to bat first but BSC fought their way to the winning 118/4 in 15.3 overs.
Ningthoujam Sanjoy 23, O Imo 16, Khangembam Rocket 13, T Sudhir 13 not out and Thomash 12 not out led the scoring for CHAMP in their innings that saw N Rajibkumar 2/23 and A Jayadeva 2/21 sharing four wickets between them.
In reply, Guruaribam Rishi scored 50 off 43 balls while Dinachandra 18 and Irungbam Thoungamba 19 followed suit to steer BSC to winning 118.
A Jayadeva Sharma of BSC who picked two wickets and added 6 runs was adjudged player of the match.
With the conclusion of the league stage, the tournament will see KCC play YPHU in the first quarterfinal tomorrow before YWC-L take on ESU in the second quarterfinal match.
