Kuki militant held

IMPHAL, Apr 12: One Kuki militant who was involved in extortion of money from vehicles plying on Imphal-Dimapur highway was arrested yesterday from near Trends Mall under Kangpokpi police station
The arrested person has been identified as Hensonpiek Vaiphei alias Henson (23) from Singda Kuki village, presently staying at Thingkangphai relief camp, Churachandpur.
He was arrested by security forces while extorting money from the driver of a loaded truck near Trends Mall along Imphal-Dimapur highway.
The arrested person has been handed over to Kangpokpi police station, sources said.
