Thoubal DC inspects development projects

THOUBAL, Apr 12 : In case development projects are not completed within stipulated time, appropriate actions will be taken against authorities concerned, said Thoubal district Deputy Commissioner Ahanthem Subhash today.
He said this while inspecting various projects being taken up in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner along with officials of the district visited work-sites at Lilong, Thoubal and Khangabok. The team inspected over 20 projects related to MGNREGA, Jal Jeevan Mission and connectivity.
During the inspection visits to the sites, Ahanthem Subhash said the findings related to the progress of works have been updated on a new Government application "Visit Tracker".
The authorities concerned must put in effort to complete the projects within the stipulated time. If the works are not completed within the given time, appropriate actions will be taken up against the authorities concerned, he said.
All complaints related to the projects may be filed with the District Level Officers (DLOs) at the DC office or to him personally, he said.
