Sangaiyumpham FC win in 3rd Samaram Trophy

Thoubal, Apr 11 : Sangai-yumpham FC thrashed Millan FA, Heikak Mapal by 5-1 goals in a Group D match of the ongoing 3rd Samaram Trophy.
Millan FA opened the scoring after 17 minutes through Bidyananda but Sangaiyumpham FC rallied back and rode on goals from Md Muthi (20', 48'), Md Ezaz (29', 49') and Md Saroj (27') to seal the 5-1 win.
Earlier in the day, PFCT, Samaram and Khongjom FC opened their Group A campaign with a 1-1 draw. Bhago (1') opened the scoring for PFCT only to be equalised by Balli (7') for Kongjom FC.
