Cheiraoba celebrated in South Korea

IMPHAL, Apr 15 : The Manipuri community living in South Korea came together to celebrate Cheiraoba at a pension house in the suburbs of Anseong City located 80 km south of Seoul on April 5.
A press release issued by the Korea Manipuri Association (KMA) has informed that a special Manipuri cuisine was prepared exclusively for the Lunar New Year celebration and Cheiraoba prayers were offered.
Additionally, Piba gifts and blessings were exchanged among all attending Pibas and Ningols.
Guests from other Indian states were also invited highlighting the spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood.
