The Gym LYS observes foundation day PBBPTC emerge men and women's deadlift champions

IMPHAL, Apr 20 : PBBPTC emerged both the men and women's champions in the deadlift competition organised in line with the 1st foundation day celebration of The Gym Lys at Tiddim ground, Kwakeithel.
Th Bidyabuson (200 kg), Keisham Albert (230 kg), Kangabam Chinglenkhomba (230 kg), Hanjabam Hritikraj Sharma (235 kg), Rajkumar Thoiba Sana (240 kg), Longjam Prasant (240 kg) all from PBBPTC emerged on top in the men's 59 kg, 66 kg, 74 kg, 83 kg, 93 kg and 105 kg category competitions in the men's section and Sanakhomba Khuman (170 kg) of the Gym LYS sealed the +120 kg category title.
Meanwhile in the women's section, PBBPTC's Kayengpaibam Velena (107.5 kg), Thokchom Sanju (125 kg), Maibam Gulubi (125 kg), Konthoujam Thoibi (115 kg), Brahmacharimayum Nimi (125 kg) and Ningthoujam Bidiyarani (130 kg) secured top honours respectively in the  47 kg, 52 kg, 57 kg, 63 kg, 69 kg, and +84 kg category competitions as Thangjam Leima of the Gym LYS sealed the top honour in the 76 kg category competition with 170 kg lift.
PBBPTC's K Albert and Th Sanju were also named best men and women lifters of the competition.
