4th State Level Iputhou Paona Ningshing Huyen Lanlong Yendamnaba concludes

IMPHAL, Apr 23 : The 4th State Level Iputhou Paona Ningshing Huyen Lanlong Yendamnaba organised in line with the Khongjom Day observation by the Apunba Manipur Huyen Lanlong Lup (AMHLL) successfully concluded today.
As many as 150 athletes representing 22 Thang-Ta institutions participated in the 2-day competition held as a tribute to the Khongjom War heroes, said AMHLL in a statement.
In the Thang-Chunggoi Chainaba event organised for class 6-12 students, Chainarol Temple's L Thomas and A Athoiba picked the gold medal as National Amity Foundation and Mangang Luwang Khuman Thang-Ta and Cultural Sindamsang finished second and third.
In the Thang Chunggoi Marol competition event for open category, L Thomas, S Melody, L Paolen Mangang and Irengbam Albert of Chainarol Temple finished first as KIETTSS group and Manipur Martial Arts Academy group finished second and third.
Meanwhile in the Ta Khousaba (group open) competition, M Rahul, K Tom, M Seityam, M Brainy and N Irison picked up the gold medal as KEITTSS and Mangang Luwang Khuman Thang-Ta and Cultural Sindamsang sealed the silver and bronze medals.
The final day of the event saw all present offering prayer and floral tributes to the heroes of Khongjom War.
Prizes were also distributed to the winners, it said.
