IMPHAL, Apr 25 : In a remarkable achievement, an internally displaced student originally from Salem Veng in Churachandpur has defeated all odds to secure the 7th position in the Higher Secondary Exam 2025 in the Arts stream, the results of which was announced today.
A student of UNACCO School, Chanura Bazar in Nambol, Raj Thoudam has brought pride to his parents Thoudam Sharat Singh and Thoudam Mirabai Devi.
The displaced family is currently residing at Toubul Makha Leikai in Bishnupur district. Thou-dam Sharat Singh was the proprietor of Akash Electrical at Salem Veng, before the family had to flee Churachandpur leaving everything behind on May 3, 2023.
