Storm wreaks havoc

NONEY, Apr 25 : Several houses were damaged while electric lines and trees were uprooted in Noney due to the thunderstorm that swept through parts of the State around 12.30 pm today, reports our correspondent.
More than 10 houses were ravaged at Longmai Area in Noney at the time of filing this report. The number could potentially increase.
The "I LOVE LONGMAI" signage at Longmai Common Ground and one Mahindra Bolero also suffered severe damages while a tree was uprooted in the NHIDCL PMU Noney Office campus.
Uprooted trees also caused damage to several electric poles and electric wires in various places.
