IMPHAL, Apr 3: Manipur will have an examination centre for NEET-MDS again from 2026.
This was informed by the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) in a letter on April 1, said the Secretariat, Health Department in a statement.
The NBEMS had removed Manipur from the list of test centres for NEET-MDS.
Notably, the restoration of Imphal as a centre for NEET-MDS examination came after the Governor's intervention, it said.
The Governor intervened in the matter at the level of the Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare, with a request to restore Imphal as a centre for NEET-MDS via a letter dated March 17.
