New board of directors of Lions Clubs installed

IMPHAL, Jul 13 : The “Annual Function 2024-2025 & Installation of Board of Directors” for the Lionistic Year 2025-2026 of Lion Club of Imphal Valley, Imphal Valley Next Gen & Imphal North was held at Hotel Nirmala, Thangal Bazar on Saturday.
The event was graced by Th Kesho Singh, immediate past district governor, Lions International District 322D as the installation officer; M Gojendra Singh, PDG, Lions International District 322D as the induction officer; and H Manikumar Singh, PDG, as the guest of honour, said a release.
During the event, prominent lion leaders were felicitated by the Organising Committee headed by Prof N Romi Singh, GMT district coordinator, Lions International District 322D; and N Raghumani Singh, past president, Lions Club of Imphal North.
Nine new members, five in the Lions Club of Imphal Valley, and four in the Lions Club of Imphal North were inducted by the induction officer with the zeal towards achieving the target of 1.5 million members of Lions Club International.
The outgoing presidents namely L Joykumar Sharma (Lions Club of Imphal Valley), Y Suresh Singh (Lions Club of Imphal North), handed over their charges to the new presidents Jugpreet Singh of Imphal Valley, P Bimola Devi of Imphal North.
Saket Bagda also took charge as the president of Lions Club of Imphal Valley Next Gen.
