Urea to be distributed at 45 points

The State Government has announced a special Urea distribution drive for farmers at 45 different locations spread across five districts viz; Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal, Kakching and Bishnupur from July 16 to 31.
An order to this effect was issued by Agriculture Director Peter Salam today.
The order said that the farmers can procure the fertilizers at a subsidised rate by producing Aadhaar card and land patta or tenant from the distribution sites.
It further said that the farmers can also procure the subsidised fertilizers through their respective District Agriculture Officers (DAOs).
The distribution drive will be held at Khongampat in Imphal West, Kumbi Boryangbi Chairel Mangjil, Wangoo Awang Shellung-khong, Kumbi Naodakhong in Bishnupur and Okram Chuthek Community Hall and Yuvraj Palli Takhok Mapal tomorrow (July 16).
On July 17, urea fertilizers will be distributed at Sekmai Koujeng Leima in Imphal West, Haraorou Maning Lampak in Imphal East, Kwakta Bazar in Kakching and Heirok and Nongpok Sekmai in Thoubal.
The remaining distribution dates and places are as follow
July 18 : Khongman Part IV Community Hall and Kongba Irong Community Hall in Imphal East district, Tekcham in Thoubal, Naransena Mayai Leikai in Bishnupur district and Phumlou Siphai Youth Club.
July 19: Changangei Panchayat Lampak in Imphal West, Andro Bazar in Imphal East, Wangkhem Bishnunaha and Leimapok-pam in Thoubal.
July 22 : Moirangpurel Mayai Leikai in Imphal East, Salungpham in Thou-bal and Heinoubok Maning Leikai in Bishnupur.
July 24 : Luwang-shangbam Panthoibi Shang- len in Imphal East, Lilong Haoreibi Mayai Leikai in Thoubal, Wabagai Mayai Leikai in Kakching, Heikru-jam Mayai Leikai in Imphal West and Utlou Awang Leikai in Bishnupur.
July 25 : Hiyanglam, Waikhong, Thongjao and Kakching in Kakching district, Lamdeng Makha Leikai Pioneer Club in Imphal West and Mongjam Community Hall in Imphal East.
July 28: Yairipok Yam-bem Laimang in Imphal East, Sugnu Bazar, Pangal-tabi and Kakching Chum- nang in Kakching and Mayang Langjing in Imphal West.
July 29: Kakching Khunou Bazar and Kyamgei Community Hall in Imphal East.
July 30 : Naorem Leikai in Imphal West, Chongabi Community Hall in Imphal East and Kameng in Imphal West.
July 31 : Thoubal, Moi-jing Meena Bazar, Khanga- bok in Thoubal district and Chingarel in Imphal East.
