Yet Mulder preferred to declare and stop his epic innings with the reasoning furnished - - - "First, I thought we have enough and we need to bowl. Secondly, Brian Lara is a legend, he got 400 against England and for someone of that stature to keep that record is pretty special. If I get the chance again I'd probably do the same thing... Lara keeping that record is exactly the way it should be"!
Will the petty war-mongering hatred-spewing society (bombing other's territory to internal feud within family homes) possessed of an ugly mindset of selfishness and dominance learn a thing or two from unsung Wiaan Mulder (in terms of glamour or hype) what the essence of humility respect and selflessness are all about!
While the skipper Mark Taylor had preferred to declare the Australian innings when he was batting at 334 (vs Pakistan, 1998 Peshawar Test) so as not to exceed the highest individual score of Don Bradman, thereby sacrificing his own desire of  registering the highest individual innings among the Australians (he could have done that by scoring just another run); another Aussie skipper Michael Clarke had preferred to declare the Australian innings when he was batting at 329 (vs India, 2012 Sydney Test), again for the very same reason!  To be contd
