PREPAK condoles

IMPHAL, Jul 16 : The proscribed People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) has condoled the demise of United Liberation Front of Assom (Independent) lieutenant general Nayan Ahom and brigadier Ganesh Ahom.
PREPAK, in a statement issued by its publicity officer Mangal Khuman, stated that Nayan Ahom and Ganesh Ahom, two leaders of ULFA (I), were killed during a pre dawn drone attack carried out by Indian security forces at four ULFA (I) camps in Myanmar.
The attack, which occurred on July 13 involved over 150 drones made in Israel and France, claimed the outfit.
Saying that PREPAK and its armed wing Red Army condemned the attack, which also injured some ULFA (I) cadres, the outfit expressed solidarity with ULFA (I).
PREPAK claimed that the attack by Indian security forces exposed India's stance of viewing the people of WESEA region as enemies.
It's time to teach the Government of India that they can't suppress the people of WESEA with such attacks, PREPAK said and  appealed to the people of Manipur to safeguard "our identity, resources, and the legacy passed down by our ancestors".
