SOREPA condoles

IMPHAL, Jul 17: The Socialist Revolutionary Party (SOREPA), Kangleipak has condoled the demise of ULFA(I) leaders in a drone bombing allegedly carried out by the Indian Army on Nagaland-Myanmar border on July 13, 2025.
According to a press release issued by SOREPA Publicity and Organization Secretary MC Yaiphabi, the Indian Army allegedly carried out drone bombing at the camps of NSCN/GPRN, RPF/PLA and ULFA(I) on July 13.
Lt Gen Nayan Asom, Chairman of the Lower Assam Council of ULFA(I), Brig Ganesh Asom and Tikendra, highly respected revolutionary comrades of ULFA(I) were lost in the drone attack.
Condoling the untimely death of the ULFA(I) cadres, SOREPA said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with their families, friends and all who were touched by their extraordinary vision and sacrifices.”
The loss of such noble and revered leaders as well as devoted comrades of ULFA(I) has created an irreplaceable void in the hearts of the WESEA people and in the National liberation movements they passionately supported.
They were more than just revolutionaries, they symbolized hope, gave voice to the voiceless and tirelessly fought for justice and sovereignty in the WESEA region, it said.
“Let us honour their  memory by continuing their work and the fight they believed in wholeheartedly”, it added.
