Rotary Toilet Complex inaugurated at Takhel

IMPHAL, Jul 17 : A Rotary Toilet Complex constructed by Rotary Club of Imphal under TRF-District Grant 2024-25 (DG No 2576883) was inaugurated at RCC village, Takhel, Imphal East on Tuesday.
The complex was officially inaugurated by Th Devkumar Thoudam, IPAG, Zone XII in the presence of Dr Th Digel Singh, president, Rotary Club of Imphal and A Bhubol Singh, president, Takhel Youth Club, said a release issued by Rotary Club of Imphal.
At the event, Dr Th Digel Singh said that the Rotary Toilet Complex had been handed over to the public of Takhel village under the community service project of the club to improve sanitation and hygiene in public areas.
These complexes, often a part of Rotary International’s sanitation initiatives, provide clean and accessible toilet facilities, reducing the spread of diseases and promoting better overall well-being.
Members of Takhel Youth Club and Rotary Club of Imphal were also present at the inaugural function.
