Paban named in IFFI

IMPHAL, Jul 18 : Noted filmmaker Haobam Paban Kumar has been named as a non-official member of the Steering Committee for the prestigious 56th International Film Festival of India 2025.
The 56th edition of IFFI is scheduled to be held from November 20 to 28 in Goa. Altogether, 15 officials and 31 non-official members were inducted into the Steering Committee.
The first meeting of the Steering Committee was held at the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) headquarters in Mumbai today.
Some of Paban Kumar's notable works include Phum Shang (Floating Life), Loktak Lairembee, Nine Hills One Valley and most recently Joseph's Son.
