The ceremony was attended by Editors' Guild Manipur president Khogen-dra Khomdram, All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) president Asem Bhakta and journalists of different media houses.
At the function, Joykisan appealed to the people of Manipur to work towards building emotional integrity.

The MLA appealed to the media houses and the people to contribute to Mani- pur's development by working towards ending the conflict.
When asked about the internal dynamics among BJP MLAs and the uncertainty surrounding Presi- dent’s Rule, Joykisan remarked that he is not in a position to comment on the matter. He emphasized that further clarity on Manipur’s political direction is expected once the upcoming session of Parliament commences.
