IMPHAL, Jul 19: The Kuki National Organisation (KNO) has announced it will proceed with a planned public consultation, though dates, venues, and agendas remain undisclosed.
In a press release, the KNO said that their movement is the people's move- ment.
Saying that they are committed to proceed with its planned public consultation, the outfit stated that their efforts represent a people's movement driven by the collective aspiration of the Kuki-Zo community.
Despite any prevailing circumstances, the consultation will go ahead as scheduled, it said.
Further stating that a public consultation serves as a crucial platform for open dialogue to ensure voices, concerns and recommendations of every Kuki-Zo community are heard, the KNO said that they believe in the power of people.
The outfit also said that their movement is not just about a few leaders but represents a collective will and determination of every Kuki-Zo individual.
