Meetei Nurse Assn, Delhi set up

IMPHAL, Jul 20 : The Delhi Meetei Coordinating Committee (DMCC) has formed the first executive committee of Meetei Nurse Association Delhi (MNAD) with Assistant Professor Somibala Thokchom (Jamia Hamdard University) as president. The other executive members, according to DMCC, 11 members and three advisors. The members are Thounaojam Samita Devi  (vice president), Mutum Budhipati (vice president), Hijam Tilotama (general secretary), Asem Linda (treasurer), Ningthoujam Purnima (joint secretary), Ningthoujam Sunikumari (executive member), Huiningsubam Pratima (executive member), Adhikarimayum Shuchitra (executive member), Thoudam Yaiphabi (executive member) and Ningthoujam Onita (executive member).
The advisors, on the other hand, are Dr Seram Rojesh, Dr N Subash Meetei and Wahengbam Premjit.
DMCC said that the formation of the executive member of MNAD marks a significant step towards the empowerment, visibility and solidarity of Meetei nursing professionals in Delhi. MNAD will act as a platform for professional development, mutual support and collaborative engagement in the healthcare sector and community welfare and service, the DMCC said.
