13 athletes, 2 coaches from Manipur in National team for 12th Asian Junior Wushu C’ship

IMPHAL, Jul 21 : 13 athletes and 2 coaches from Manipur are in the National team for the 12th Asian Junior Wushu Championships beginning on July 23 in Jiangyin, Wuxi, China.
Notably, Sanda coach L Pradipkumar and Taolu coach L Sanatombi Chanu and 13 athletes are in the 30-member National team for the championships that will run till July 30.
The athletes who were selected for the continental event by the Wushu Association of India include L Rahul (60 kg), S Roshan (52 kg) and M Ravichandra (56 kg) in the Sanda squad; and Laitonjam Linthoingambi, K Devikarani, L Chanuthoi, RK Lanchenbi Chanu, Kh Hulison, Th Wangthoi, Th Jollyson, Aheibam Angambam, Hanjabam Reinold and L Yaichenba in the Taolu squad.
The National team left India for China today.
