Two hurt in inferno

IMPHAL, Jul 21: A massive fire broke out at a rented house at Lamphel Sanakeithel in the wee hours today hurting two persons including a woman.
The two individuals have been identified as Wangmayum Sadana Ahamed of Hatta Golapati and Wahengbam Pramod Singh of Bishnupur Ward No 7. The fire broke out at around 2.52 am, prompting the Manipur Fire Service to dispatch a team to control the fire.
The timely intervention of the Manipur Fire Service prevented the fire from causing major damage and rescued two individuals, said the Directorate of Fire Service in a statement.
The fire service team evacuated them to RIMS.
