SUK lines up State level competitions

IMPHAL, Jul 22 : Students’ Union of Kangleipak (SUK) will be organising the “State Level Spelling Competition” and “Kangleipak Pumbagi Ariba Lon gi Wahanthok Changdamnaba” at multiple venues from August 24 to September 14, 2025.
As per Ranjit Khuman, convenor of Mobilization Sub-Committee and organisation secretary of SUK, the spelling competition will be conducted in two categories- Category A for Classes V to VII and Category B for Classes VIII to X, under the theme, “Lottuna Leiriba Maheiroisinggi Lousing Puthoktuna Malemgi Hidanabagi Lambida Chnagsinba”.
The first preliminary round will be held on August 24, with subsequent rounds on September 7 and September 14.
Also, the Kangleipak Pumbagi Ariba Lon gi Wahanthok Changdamnaba will be held under the theme “Manipuri Lon Gi Phajaba Mashakpu Matamgi Yawolda Yokkhatuna Thamba” in two rounds.
The first round will be held on September 7 and the final round on September 14.
Students from high school to post-graduate level can participate in the competition.
Top three winners of both the competitions will be awarded Rs 20000, Rs 15000 and Rs 10000 respectively along with certificates and mementoes.
Consolation prize will also be given to all the finalists.
SUK has appealed to all the students and teachers of schools, colleges & universities to provide their cooperation to ensure the successful conduct of the competitions.
