Fire breaks out

IMPHAL, July 23: A devastating fire broke out at Thongju Part II in Imphal East around 8 pm today, gutting a house belonging to Kharibam Memthoibi (53), wife of Kh Ibohal.
The blaze caused significant damage to the house.
Locals suspect a short circuit might have sparked the fire. Fortunately, a prompt response from the Fire Service team prevented the fire from spreading to nearby houses. The exact value of the damaged property is yet to be determined.
