IMPHAL, Jul 24 : People can now get income tax exemptions on large donations made to Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board (LSTB) under the 80G Certificate issued by the Income Tax Department.
According to Meisnam Shivadutta Luwang, member secretary, LSTB, the Board has also received the 12A registration.
He urged interested individuals to extend all possible help for the revival and advancement of Sanamahism.
The announcement was made during a joint meeting (Tinna Mipham) of the ten "loishangs" under LSTB held at LSTB office located at Haying Khongbal Uphong Yumpham today.
The 17th joint meeting held today discussed ways to uplift the ten loishangs.
