Resolution to extend PR admitted

IMPHAL, Jul 24 : The Rajya Sabha has admitted the statutory resolution seeking to extend President's Rule for a period of another six months with effect from August 13.
The resolution was moved by Union Home Minister Amit Shah today.
The resolution reads as, ‘This House approves the continuance in force of the Proclamation dated 13th February, 2025 in respect of Manipur, issued under Article 356 of the Constitution by the President, for a further period of six months with effect from 13th August 2025”
