2nd Premier League : WAFA go Group C second with 2-1 win

IMPHAL, Jul 25 : Wangoi Football Association (WAFA) edged past Angtha FC by 2-1 goals to go second in the Group C table (second round) of the 2nd Premier League this afternoon at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.
WAFA who played out a goalless draw against runaway leaders FC Raengdai conceded a goal after 26 minutes but fought back to seal the game 2-1.
Laishram Rabichandra had put Angtha FC, who also played out a goalless draw with ABA in the previous match, ahead after 26 minute but Wahengbam Jack Singh equalise the margin in the 35th minute before Chirom Shinivash hit the winner in the 65th minute.
