Your India is a powerful democratic country. If you once say “Stop the fight else the side from where the sound of bullets comes will be given befitting punishment” then a single bullet will not come from any warring side. Otherwise, make an effort to issue a cease-fire order. Please take serious concern to the present conflict to save the integrity of India from parting with a Christian Nation curbing out of Indian Territory- a future threat to your idea of Bharat. Please feel the pulse of Separate Administration. Please act after looking at it from all perspectives. Collect honest information from your intelligentsia, apply your conscience as to who is attacking whom, and act accordingly. Your India stands at a precipice where the hearts of Meitei cry out for peace and unity. If true democracy means anything, it is the call for dialogue and understanding, not violence and division. We must remember that the strength of our nation lies in its diversity—every culture and every religion contributes to the rich tapestry of our identity. The echoes of gunfire should not drown the voices of our people yearning for harmony.
We must not let the flames of conflict consume the very essence of our democracy. Engaging in conversations that foster empathy and eliminate the misconceptions that feed animosity is imperative. The time has come for leaders to rise above politics and resist the temptation of power that thrives on division. You must seek the elders’ wisdom, the scholars’ insights, and the hopes of the youth who dream of an India where they can coexist peacefully.
Let us not forget that every action evokes a consequence. If we are to embark on a path of retribution, let it be directed towards building bridges, not walls. Though one Kuki leader follows Robert Frost’s statement-”Good Fences make good neighbors” in Frost’s poem Mending Wall is misinterpreted cynically. The gaps created by these natural forces are significant enough for two people to walk through side by side. This imagery suggests that the wall’s purpose of separation is being defeated by natural processes, allowing for connection and interaction between the neighbors. A united front against the forces of discord will speak louder than any proclamation. We have the power to choose peace over chaos, dialogue over destruction not by walling. Be optimistic and remember the poem “Where the Mind is Without Fear” of Rabindranath Thakur’s lines “Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls;” for the integrity of our country.
I urge you to find the courage to pursue a ceasefire, demonstrating that reason can prevail over war. This is our opportunity to commit to peace and ensure every Indian thrives in a fair and just nation. Foreigners have no right to impose demands in India; such requests should be scrutinized based on nationality, especially in complex border regions. The Indian Constitution delineates the rights and responsibilities of citizens, and our strength lies in our sovereignty and respect for these principles. Visitors must adhere to our laws and recognize our rich heritage.
In today’s geopolitical context, it’s crucial to differentiate between citizens and non-citizens, as an influx of outsiders can destabilize our society. Citizenship carries a shared duty to follow our laws, making inquiries about someone’s nationality essential to understanding their claims.
We must address our demographic complexities with care, as our borders reflect our historical journey. It’s vital to reject requests that do not align with our domestic realities. Upholding our principles and sovereignty ensures constitutional rights are justly granted.
Let us assert our national identity, while visitors respect our foundational laws. Accountability is vital for democracy. Our engagement with external inquiries should promote dialogue rooted in our constitutional values, guiding others on our customs.
Each citizen represents our collective identity, striving for a democracy where rights and responsibilities are clear. Our voices as Indians must support our societal foundations amidst diversity.
As the global landscape evolves, we must engage with awareness of our national interests. Our sovereignty connects to economic growth, social equity, and cultural vibrancy. We should interact confidently with the international community to safeguard our rights.
In advocating for peace, we must ensure demands respect our sovereignty. Accountability fosters a system where every voice matters within our democratic framework.
In conclusion, let us commit to a nation that upholds rights and responsibilities, empowering every Indian to thrive. Together, as defenders of democracy, we can create a narrative that cherishes our Constitution and aspirations. Let your forces station honestly at the porous border to prevent arms and drug smuggling in your country through the state of Manipur and neighboring states. Manage effectively to prevent felling of trees deforestation for poppy cultivation for better future of India as well.
You must refrain from engaging with a specific militant by extending logistical support that may facilitate cooperation in the neutralization efforts related to that particular militants. You possess considerable strength; you should handle this matter using your own forces effectively and without unnecessary external involvement. It is crucial that you adhere to both the letter and the spirit of the deployment guidelines established for central forces, which are intended to assist the state administration in a supportive capacity. Your operations should not be conducted independently or autonomously without prior consultation and agreement with the state government, as doing so could imply a situation akin to the President’s Rule, undermining the local governance structure. Always remember that coordination with state authorities is key to ensuring a successful and unified approach in addressing this security challenge.
Investigate the origins of the conflicts among Kuki-Naga, Kuki-Paite, Kuki-Thadou, Kuki-Meitei, and Meitei-Pangal, distinguishing between pre-empted and localized clashes.
Recover the weapons looted from both the valley and hills, as well as those smuggled in, by deploying your strong forces.
Please listen to the voices of the people regarding their demands for integration and the identity of the indigenous inhabitants of the land, designating a justifiable year for this classification.
Use your judgment to determine whether the conflict is framed in religious terms, specifically between Hindus and Christians. Identify who seeks solidarity from the global Christian population while perpetrating crimes against humanity in the name of Christianity here in Manipur.
The Kukis are classified as Scheduled Tribes and enjoy constitutional privileges in India, whereas its counterparts across the border lack similar recognition, resulting in an increasing influx of armed militants of this community into the state to grasp the benefits and even standoff Indian forces.
