6 hurt in feud

IMPHAL, Jul 28: A feud between two families at Sora landed 6 persons in hospitals yesterday.
A brawl involving knives reportedly broke out between two groups of people near Sora Keithel at around 5.30 pm under Kakching police station, said sources.
In the brawl, three people on each side sustained knife injuries before police intervened.
Three of the injured from Sora Ching Wangma--Makakmayum Amar (28) and his younger brothers, MK Akbar (26) and MK Asif (24) were rushed to Thoubal district hospital for treatment.
Md Anash Khan (24) and his father Md Iboyai (45) from Sora Mamang Leikai and one Md Mustaqkim (20) of Sora Awang Leikai were rushed to Jivan Hospital Kakching. Some of the injured have been referred to hospitals in Imphal.
