14th Jadonang Memorial Football Tournament from October 11

IMPHAL, Jul 29 : The Zeliangrong Football Association (ZFA) is set to organise the 14th edition of Jadonang Memorial Football Tournament from October 11.
Informing this in a press release, ZFA said that the opening and closing ceremony of the tournament will be held at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium while the other league round matches will be held at SAI football grass ground and turf grounds at Takyel.
The tournament carries a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh for the winners and Rs 1 lakh for the runners up along with trophies besides team prize worth Rs 20,000 each for best disciplined team and best parade team and individual prize worth Rs 10,000 each for best player, best keeper and top scorer.
Inviting Zeliangrong village youth clubs from Assam, Manipur and Nagaland to sponsor not more than one team, Zeliangrong Football Association said that the entry form for the tournament can be availed on all working days from August 18 to September 20.
The last date of entry form submission is September 27, it said while informing all intending Zeliangrong youth clubs to collect entry form (Rs 1000) from ZFA head office, Kakhulong in Paona Bazar during office hours (11 am to 4 pm).
Registration fee is Rs 5,000, it added.
