MEELAL appeals

As the 19th Meetei Mayek competition is scheduled to be held on August 3, Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasillol Apunba Lup (MEELAL) has appealed all State CSOs and groups to refrain from imposing bandh/blockade on the aforementioned date.
In a press release, MEELAL has informed that it will not entertain any complaints from candidates who failed to submit their forms by July 30.
Saying that the competition will be held from 11 am to 1:30 pm on August 3, MEELAL has informed all candidates to arrive at the centre 1 hour before the exam begins.
The competition has been divided into 10 categories for students from Class I to X.
Winners will receive recognition certificate, memento and cash awards to the tune of Rs 5000, Rs 4000 and Rs 3000.
Ten consolation prizes will be awarded for every category  along with a cash prize of Rs 1000 each.
