IW to survey

IMPHAL, Jul 31: The Imphal West district administration has geared up to survey Thangal Bazar, Paona Bazar and along several roads to identify all encroachment including aerial expansions and projections over Government land, drains, footpaths and public land.
The survey at Thangal Bazar and Paona Bazar areas will be conducted from 7 am of August 6 by a joint team of officials of the district administration, MAHUD, Imphal Municipal Corporation, Chief Town Planner and line departments concerned, said a public notice issued by the DC Imphal West today.
On the other hand, the survey along Keishamthong Junction to Ningthemcha Karong road, Ningthemcha Karong to Mayang Imphal Bengoon, Naoremthong to Tera Bazar (along CIPET), Sanakeithel stretch (Officers' Club Circle to Sinam Leikai), RIMS Road and RIMS Canteen Road will be conducted on August 2, said a separate notification released by the Deputy Commissioner.
