UKNA asks for Rs 500 from each household

IMPHAL, Jul 31: The United Kuki National Army (UKNA) has asked every Kuki household to pay Rs 500 by August 7, 2025 for the cause of Kuki community and its movement.
Notably, UKNA is not a signatory to the Suspension of Operation (SoO) agreement.
The UKNA has asked all Kuki village leaders/chiefs to collect Rs 500 from each household and pay the amount to them by August 7, 2025.
“Even if the people are suffering a lot, we implore our people to contribute Rs 500 each because it is war time”, the UKNA said.
It further asked village chiefs to make up for those households who cannot contribute the sum of Rs 500.
