KSVY funds

IMPHAL, Aug 18 : Under the Kala Sanskriti Vikas Yojana (KSVY), the Ministry of Culture has provided a total of Rs 671.66 lakh in financial assistance to eligible cultural organizations/individuals of Manipur working in the field of performing arts (including traditional, folk and tribal arts) for 2025-26 (till August 14, 2025).
The Ministry authorized 74 cultural organisations from the State to receive a sum of Rs 505.6 lakh for promotion of Guru-Shishya Parampara (Repertory Grant).
Under the Cultural Function and Production Grant, 75 cultural organisations were authorized to get Rs 129.78 lakh in total.
Additionally, two organisations were authorized by the Ministry to receive Rs 12.5 lakh under Building Grants including Studio Theatre Scheme.
22 scholars were selected to get Rs 6.6 lakh in total under the Scholarship to Young Artists in Different Cultural Fields (SYA). Lastly, 19 beneficiaries were approved for a sum of Rs 17.18 lakh as part of KSVY's financial assistance to veteran artists.
