No new intake of patients at JNIMS

IMPHAL, Sep 16 : No new patients will be admitted at the Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) Porompat until further notice, the Medical Superintendent of the hospital has notified today.
This, after the JNIMS campus and surrounding areas were inundated with water following incessant rainfall.
While there will be no new admission, all patients admitted in different wards of the hospital shall be evacuated with immediate effect, said the Medical Superin- tendent's notification.
