Nishikant leads in donating blood

IMPHAL, Sep 18 : In a display of civic responsibility and setting examples, Keishamthong AC MLA Nishikant Singh Sapam donated blood at RIMS yesterday during a mega donation drive held as part of the Nationwide Raktdan Amrit Mahotsav 2.0.
The blood donation drive was organised by Akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad (ABTYP) in collaboration with the National Medical Organization, Manipur, and the State Blood Cell, NHM Manipur.
Speaking to the media on the sidelines, Nishikant urged healthy individuals to donate blood, emphasizing that one unit of blood can save a life . He encouraged everyone to support this humanitarian cause.
"One unit of blood can give someone a new chance at life so let us all come forward for this cause of humanity", the MLA said.
He also praised the organisers of the blood donation drive.
Additionally, 15 volunteers of Team Nishikant participated in the blood donation drive.
