Strike disrupts

IMPHAL, Sep 21 :The 24-hour general strike called by the National Revolutionary Front of Manipur (NRFM) against the Merger Agreement disrupted normal life today.
Khwairamband Keithel and shops in adjacent areas remained closed due to the bandh, while vehicular movement on various roads was significantly reduced.
Several markets and shops in other districts were also shut.
NRFM exempted emergency services and certain other activities from the bandh's restrictions.
